Train with us

A race preparation training programme organized by the Atletica Stramilano coaching staff to get participants in shape for the Stramilano.

Who can take part?

Beginners and all amateur runners who want to train over routes from 5 km up to half marathon distance in order to compete in races, and in particular in the Stramilano Half Marathon.

Where?

PARCO delle CAVE
Meet at the STRAMILANO gazebo at the end of Via Milesi in Milan
Take local bus number 63 or 67. Parking is available.

Meet at 9.30 am. Training starts at 10.00 am. Each session lasts approximately an hour and a quarter.

Please note
A number of training methods are used in the sessions. The goal is to establish sound running mechanics in participants by ensuring that they have suitable posture and breathing techniques.

Important
a) Members of FIDAL or the athletics section of a Sports Promotion Body must present a copy of their membership renewal for 2015 (or for 2016 from January onwards).
b) Non-club athletes must present a valid medical certificate of sufficient fitness for non-competitive sports issued by their doctor or an authorized practitioner of sports medicine. Alternatively, they can present a medical certificate of a higher level (for “high-intensity cardiovascular exercise” or “competitive sports”).

Registration fees and methods

Registration
a) Fill in the registration form and email a copy to training@stramilano.it. The original form must be given to the training staff on the Sunday morning before the start of the sessions (along with a photocopy of a medical certificate for non-club athletes).

b) Pay the €20.00 registration fee.
