Press conference Stramilano 2023

Get ready at the starting line for the 50th edition of Stramilano, the most beloved and attended marathon of the city to be held on March 19th.
At the press conference for the launch of the event, organized at the Sala Galeazzo Alessi of Palazzo Marino, participated the Councilor for Sport, tourism and youth policies of the Municipality of Milan, Martina Riva, the Brigadier General of the Army, Alfonso Miro, the Chief of Staff Interregional Commander Roberto Boccaccio, Fidal National President Stefano Mei and the President of CONI Lombardia Marco Riva. Paola di Benedetto, godmother of the event, radio speaker, showgirl, and model, will support the runners of Stramilano.

According to tradition, there will be three events: Stramilano 10km, Stramilanina 5km, and the Stramilano Halfmarathon. Additionally, students of the Music High School Carlo Tenca of Milan will play at some of the stages of the race to support the athletes and the crowd. The general public will also be entertained by the performing arts company LIBERIDI which will perform along the track and at the finishing line at the Arena Civica. Also, don’t forget the photo boot corners where you can take funny selfies to share with friends on social media with the hashtags #Stramilano2023 and #50anniamanetta!
A thousand military athletes of the Italian Army, coming from all around Italy, and 3 runners from the Carabinieri Sport Center will also attend the event.

Stramilano is not only about sport but also an opportunity to socialize, come together, and help others. The event has always supported several associations, among which: Abio e Dutur Claun, to help disabled children, City Angels, the angels of the streets who help homeless people and citizens in need, and Bistari Bistari Kalika which operates in Nepal.
