Our tips for the SOTTOZERO of Sunday, December 1st

30/11/2024

The Stramilano SOTTOZERO is only in its second edition, but it’s already one of the most loved winter races in Milan. Just a few more hours and you’ll be able to spend a Sunday filled with sports and friendship in the ultra-modern CityLife district, all in the true spirit of Stramilano.

But first, let’s go over a few tips to help you be fully prepared for the event.

Collect your race bib and kit

You can collect everything you need for the Stramilano SOTTOZERO at Fior di Roccia, Via Repubblica Cisalpina 3, Arena Civica (Milan), by showing the confirmation email you received upon registration.

If you haven’t registered yet, you can sign up for all routes at Fior di Roccia and immediately pick up your race bib and kit.

The pickup location will be open:

  • Saturday, November 30, from 10 AM to 7 PM

Alternatively, you can pick up your race kit on Sunday, December 1st, from 7 AM to 10:30 AM at the CityLife Village in Piazza Burri (behind the Palazzo delle Scintille).

Bag storage

At the CityLife Village in Piazza Burri, there will be a designated area where you can change and leave your official Stramilano SOTTOZERO bag. The Stramilano staff will take care of it until the end of the event.

Start and finish lines

  • 10K competitive (FIDAL): 9 AM, Via Cassiodoro, CityLife (Milan).
  • 10K and 5K non-competitive: 10:30 AM, Via Cassiodoro, CityLife (Milan). The 5K will start right after the 10K at a free pace.

The finish line is on Via Stratos (CityLife), where all runners will receive their 2024 Stramilano SOTTOZERO medal.

The route

The 5K loop is FIDAL certified, starting from Via Cassiodoro and ending at Via Stratos (CityLife). Both competitive 10K participants and non-competitive 10K runners will complete two laps of the course.

Refreshment stations and CityLife Village

In accordance with World Athletics-FIDAL regulations, there will be a refreshment point along the course. At the CityLife Village in Piazza Burri, there will be a final refreshment area where runners can rest after the race. Snacks and water will be available.
